Uluslararas\u0131 d\u00fczeyde 137 bilim kad\u0131n\u0131 \u2018Bilimde M\u00fckemmeliyet \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc\u2019 ile onurland\u0131r\u0131l\u0131rken, bu isimlerden 7\u2019si daha sonra Nobel \u00d6d\u00fcl\u00fc\u2019ne lay\u0131k g\u00f6r\u00fcld\u00fc.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>T\u00fcrkiye ise bu program\u0131n en aktif \u00fclkelerinden biri olarak, en \u00e7ok destek veren ilk be\u015f \u00fclke aras\u0131nda yer al\u0131yor. Nature ara\u015ft\u0131rmas\u0131na g\u00f6re, erkek bilim insanlar\u0131 kad\u0131nlara k\u0131yasla iki kat daha fazla fon al\u0131yor. Kad\u0131n bilim insanlar\u0131n\u0131n makalelerde yazar olarak belirtilme olas\u0131l\u0131\u011f\u0131 %13, patentlerde isimlerinin yer alma ihtimali ise %58 oran\u0131ndan daha d\u00fc\u015f\u00fck.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Y\u00d6K verilerine g\u00f6re T\u00fcrkiye\u2019de de benzer bir tablo g\u00f6zlemleniyor. Kad\u0131n ara\u015ft\u0131rma g\u00f6revlilerinin oran\u0131 %55, \u00f6\u011fretim g\u00f6revlilerinin oran\u0131 ise %52 seviyelerinde. Ancak profes\u00f6rl\u00fck a\u015famas\u0131na gelindi\u011finde oran kademeli olarak %35\u2019e kadar d\u00fc\u015f\u00fcyor. \u00dclkemizde 186 erkek rekt\u00f6re oranla yaln\u0131zca 15 kad\u0131n rekt\u00f6r g\u00f6rev yaparken, erkek dekan say\u0131s\u0131 da kad\u0131n dekan say\u0131s\u0131n\u0131n yakla\u015f\u0131k \u00fc\u00e7 kat\u0131na ula\u015f\u0131yor. Projenin amac\u0131, genetik bilginin h\u00fccrenin yap\u0131ta\u015f\u0131 olan proteinlere d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015fmesinde kritik rol oynayan RNA molek\u00fcl\u00fcnden proteine d\u00f6n\u00fc\u015f\u00fcm s\u00fcrecini anlamak ve bu yolla hastal\u0131\u011fa sebep olan proteinlerin seviyelerini azaltmakt\u0131r.
